I did feed it some sea-foam.The area I have to clear is 100% asphalt pavement, so I set mine at about 3/16" clearance to the scraper blade. Since it stays running and cleans up under load I don't care enough to try to fix. I also have a slight issue with the motor surging when not under load. Machine is SO MUCH BETTER with a fresh friction wheel. Can't decide if I like it this way or not. But it isn't anywhere near scraping blacktop on the paved drive. I will say it glides over the pea stone I have in front of my shed. I thought this was where I had it before. I reset the skids using a 3/4" piece of wood. I snapped a drive control cable recently and while I was at it I replaced a bunch of worn parts, including the scraper bar. Speaking of skids, where do you guys set yours?
